Words to strike fear

So why is it a bad idea for me to keep walking after my legs have registered their objections?

Walking on hyperextended knees. Contemplate that for a bit. Or don't; all my everything hurts thinking about it.

In other news, I have smartphone thumb.

Irritation to the thumb joint from doing bad things at awkward angles, repeatedly, with it. Fortunately it's my left thumb, so I can give it a rest on the keyboard.
