Sticky
My body rebelled at three straight days of getting up at a time evening shift type people call early. This presented itself in changing my alarm time (which I was aware of) and 40 minutes of snooze (which I was not).
I hate feeling lost and helpless. I hate being sweaty and having the shakes. The latter and the former intersect. Queuing does not help either one.
On the up side, at least I made step count. Again.
Despite some of the other physical woes, the Situation Down There is now almost entirely free of pain (but just watch, it'll feel called to serve up cramps).
Today at work, Visual Dude came in search of glue. The spray adhesive has not been holding the intern poster together adequately. So I dug into the Sticky Box after gluesticks and maybe tape.
Shortly thereafter, he returned with another visual person in tow.
"And they go in the Sticky Box," he explained, and put the tape back in its proper place with great enthusiasm, showing her the location and theme.
I have wrought well.
He came back a little later, sighing over the lackluster adhesion.
"I've already placed a strong gluestick order," I advised, anticipating. I did that right after handing him the tape.
