An Odd Quick Fix Tip that for some reason seems related: If a drain is minorly clogged, sometimes pouring a teaspoon or so of Head & Shoulders original formula down the drain and waiting a while will dislodge the clog enough that it can clear up on its own without a plumber. (Other types of soap will not work.)

My mom discovered this when we could not afford a plumber. To this day I do not know why it worked.
