The weird thing is that "milady" should really not work for me, from a couple of different directions. * I associate it strongly with the sort of bro who sea-lions. * "lady" is a gender-marker that I don't particularly subscribe to, despite presenting fairly femme on some axes (though, hilariously, one of the people at work appears to "sir" me reflexively, which I find super endearing.) * my is also interesting. My reaction to possessiveness is ... mixed.
But if Purple elects to address me thus, he is allowed.
I can't always predict how I'll react in any given situation, but you're not on the (rather long) list of people who are definitely not allowed to address me thus in person.
I would very much like it if Purple decided that (nearly) every week should have a Netflix & root beer evening that included me.
I don't think there's a minimum awfulness quotient, but there's no particularly high quality bar either.
