Em. This has nothing to do with anything you've recently been writing about, but I was just trying to explain CTY to someone, and I decided that the JHU page for it was a resoundingly dismal representation of what it was... which made me remember the Spammish Inquisition. So I googled "Spammish Inquisition" with "CTY," and got to your page, and saw a picture of Joan the Alaskan and someone else I didn't recognize, at Hamilton. I was in class with Rebecca, who came from Ithaca, in '94 and '95. And she was, as a recall, part of the Inquisition. I was wondering who you are and if you might know how to get in touch with her. It'd be funny to see what she's been up to but I no longer have her e-mail address, and the one I had'd probably be outdated by now anyway.

It'd be funny to see how we all ended up...

My nine-year-younger sister took the SAT last year and is taking Existentialism this summer. We both insert "DIE DIE DIE!" at the appropriate parts of American Pie when we hear it together, now.

I'm Joan the Alaskan. Were you in the Etymologies class? Who were you? I'm racking my brain attempting to remember.

It's so great to have more than one CTYer in the family.

The guy you don't recognize would be Josh, the loud and obnoxious, the one I probably wouldn't shut up about. He's on LJ too, as [livejournal.com profile] pyrogenic. Not sure who else from then LJ's. There are a few CTY communities...
