planner problems

The trouble with the planner I got to try and cope with the current shenanigans (neg) is that the baseline setting is for bad days.

The other problem is of course that it's coming from a very different place than I am. Also that I don't (currently) have a laser printer, and I don't have a copy of Corel Presentations or WordPerfect.

There is an inkjet, though, and I do have access to google docs, which is almost enough. And I've got the required paper guillotine and a dinky little 6-hole punch.

What I really want, of course, is my existing bullet journal layout formalized and scaled up to half-sheet, adding in modules suggested by the planner. (I've already moved the Positivity Exercises section to the end of the book, because it bears so little resemblance to stuff that helps me. I've vandalized the worst of it already, and that has brought me great glee. My three Positive Words That Bring Me Joy are, in order:
FUCK
THAT
SHIT
and I have, according to the instructions, illustrated them and imagined the reactions of my BFFs, who are 100% cheering me on as I cope in my own special way.)

Also I want about half the page devoted to notes/journaling, instead of a grudging centimeter at the bottom of the A5 page.

Modules I'm keeping in the day-by-day section:
* Date/day
* Top tasks

Modules I'm considering keeping:
* 3 things to be grateful for (today's: today is not a hard day; good reading materials; flip timers)
* Medication tracker (this will get more use when I have chemo and chemo side effects to manage, but I'm tracking meds in an app so it's maybe not so relevant)
* Symptoms tracker

Modules I'm significantly revising:
* Hours of Sleep & Physical Activity
* Healthy Eating
* Notes
* Self-Love

Modules left on the metaphorical curb:
* Inspirational Quote

Modules/sections that need to be added:
* if they want me to track my day as a number out of 5, that had goddamn better be on the daily spread bc while it's *useful* in the monthly spread it also needs tracking if I'm just wading day-to-day
* List of daily activities I might need help with or to track (revision to sleep/physical/meals)
* List of small things that make me feel better (revision to self-love)

It's not all terrible! It has sections for contacts, health history, treatments, tests, blood count, medication, and appointments.

The resources section is a mix of terrible and okay.
The Positivity Exercises section is, uh.
Let's just say that there's a lot too much of someone else's deity in there, and the parts that aren't deity-focused are, um.
I guess the bucket list is okay?
The idea of cancer as a journey of self-improvement is offensive.
I don't care for Vulnerability Bingo as a self-improvement exercise.
Comparing things that are going on in Before Cancer and With Cancer is probably useful to someone.
Fighting brain fog with brain training is fine, sure.
Breaking down fears, things in your control, and things you can't control could be useful, but putting prayer in there bounces off me.
Text messages to a god? nothx
That whole section is a waste of paper to me, because it has so many misses, and the misses share pages with the good ones.
ALSO IT TOLD ME TO SMILE.
