I love him.

As long as something he adheres to is within the range that I find acceptable, and he would prefer that I comply with his range of acceptable, I can, and probably will.

Both.

Somewhere in the middle, we'll find a happy balance; but being the more liberal one, come of a conservative background, and reverting to more conservative standards when left on my own, I am most likely the one to be changing.

Also, Darkside has the habit of being bothered by things I do that are destructive to me, such as persisting in unstable relationships, not getting enough sleep, not doing homework, not working out, and so forth.

The trick will be cranking up the volume on the part of me that is agreeing with Darkside, when he and I part ways (if we do) so I'll continue with the good habits.
