Speaking of which, I need sleep.

The spectre of Voting haunts me such that I don't feel like I can do anything until I do that, which is one of the worse kinds of ADHD lockup, because at the moment I also do not have the Brains to do that. (I know my obvious vote on the Presidential election. I have much less certainty about the various more local situations.)

Today was a #cupcake Zoom "lunch", which is to say it started at 2pm local time, and went until pretty much everyone had dropped out or fallen over (9p).

Apparently I am keeping Toowoomba hours. Huh.

Ugh, seriously, the local issues. H and I literally spent five freaking hours Saturday afternoon going over all the damned propositions and we still feel like there are going to be secret backlash ramifications for some of the housing propositions that were actually cover for other fights.

I try to research and vote on all the local issues and races, but I occasionally skip one if I really can't figure it out, either because there seem to be good arguments on both sides, or because I can't get a grip on what it would do.

This year, we have one local office where the tricky part was figuring out what the job did, and for extra credit why this is even an elected position, chosen by residents of this one county.
