Nephew ate approximately twenty square inches of lettuce leaf before tucking into dinner. The trick is to serve only the greens, wait until they're eaten, and then serve the rest of dinner. He's currently enjoying a bowl of ice-cream with gummy bears, as he ate his dinner, including the lettuce, without fuss other than the initial "But I don't want lettuce!"

He's learning fast.
