Why California?

Depending on the neighborhood, crime rate.
Overlegislation?
Depending, school system.


Good things:

Depending, school system.
My relatives.
Our friends.


Unknowable things:

Whatever the hell reason it is that we seem to be in the process of being Called.

I do know someone who lives in Davis, which isn't that far out of "the Bay area", at least by my Texas standards. It's just West of Sacramento.

But...personally, I've never been to California. Makes me antsy. I'll have to go out and visit...ohhhh she'll like that, she's been badgering me to visit for ages, but the cost of *getting* there. Too far to drive, too much $ to fly. :(

I've been to California. Nice place, if a little Betan. (Evidently she did base Beta Colony on South CA.)
