a) Darkside, of course.
b) well, there's canon for sithjawa, or perhaps votania.
c) A Sue would be top of the class in DADA, steal Darkside's love for her own, and the LF would love her.
d) You will jump the shark when eris_raven starts thinking audible wisecracks, a la Garfield.
e) The Loony finally figures out DNS, with the help of Darkside.

*nods* Though Azz, Darkside, and Votania would be an early-season OT3 of mine. For the past couple seasons, Azz, Darkside, and Mr. Shallow was my OT3.

Oh, and the Mary Sue? That would be Darkside's identical twin sister. You know, the one who looks like a hot female version of Darkside, and has a remarkable similarity of personality. Also, she's not actually related to him at all.

Thus enabling the other OT3.

I don't think I qualify as a real Fan sort of person, as I still don't know what the heck "jumping the shark" is. But I like you people, just judging from this one entry, the comments, and the pictures. Based on that data alone I would make your Mary Sue be a vegetarian orthodox Wiccan with a telepathic, giant, hermaphroditic 6-legged cat as her best friend and father/mother of her half-breed alien love child, as they grew up together on another planet when Mary Sue was kidnapped by aliens, but it all turned out okay, except for that asteroid accident that destroyed half her brain so she had to replace it with a supercomputer and now she is coming back to Earth and happens to run into you in the grocery store, where she realizes that you of all the people on the planet would be the perfect companion for her and Azathoth the cat-being.

"Jumping the Shark" is the point at which it starts to all go downhill after there. It is the high point in any series, and there can be no improving on it, and there is often serious getting worse after that point.

I thought it was meant to be the point at which the show has irrevocably dropped from Good to Shite.

The term comes from Happy Days (as I'm sure you know, but for completeness...) where the Fonz water-skiis and jumps over a shark.

It's the point where it's just got stupid and the show really should be allowed to die a dignified death.

a. t3h obvious, because t3h obvious relationship that somehow never quite happens is what shippers are *for*.

b. Probably not me, because canon is so often anathema for slash. There would almost certainly be Votania slash. Two hot women, living together - they *must* be getting it on. The "so wrong it's right" pairing would be Neo/Tigereye. There would be coveted rareslash "Everyone wants to read it, no one wants to write it" pairings involving Naomi and the bdsm relationship with Marx's computer random people from other fandoms.

c. Darkside, of course! Alternately, LF, after he develops mutant superpowers.

d. Darkside is drafted into an attack on North Korea that inside sources rumor is designed to be a suicide mission. Everyone gets drunk, but not all at the same time. Angsty farewell sex is had multiple times, each time with the sober party believing they are taking advantage of the drunk party. LF, traumatized by all the angst, runs away while no one is watching and gets kidnapped by a group of evil vampire mages who want to hold him hostage for something involving Votania's job. Things go even further downhill in the next season premiere, but networks don't catch on and cancel the show until two seasons later the writers realize they can't possibly create any more angst without actually destroying the world, and attempt to write a climactic ending.

e. I cheat - it is not one sentence! "A gritty yet surreal fic noir, the AU Darkside Knightmares series choreographs the movements of magic-wielding detectives Dark and Azure in a series of hair-raising escapades. The first AU to ever win an award in the AzureLunatic fandom, Darkside Knightmares captures the characters of AzureLunatic and Darkside while creating an entirely original universe. Diverging from standard ploys, Darkside Knightmares sets Dark and Azure on opposing sides for the first few chapters, creating a knife-edged relationship reminiscent of Beatrice and Benedick in Shakespeare.
