Went Out

Dawn picked me up after English class. Between her running late and our missed directions, we wound up being too late to see the movie. We went out for dinner instead. She knows this nice little Irish pub (in the heart of downtown Tempe) and that's where we wound up. Nice place. Nice food.

We gossiped and magic-geeked some. Guys: accellerator shields. You know that Mercedes Lackey spinning-shield trick? Well, if you've got layered shields that form an accelerator, spinning around any incoming hostile at the speed of thought, and then you release it back in the direction it came from once it's good and ready to return...

Interesting concept, at least. I know that there are some things that should Never Ever Ever get into the accellerator; sithjawa, I think that this is where your magnets come in.

Came back home. Will be crashing soon. Have been out of house since a little after 6 this morning.

Got a B- on my speech, despite the 2:30 overrun of my allotted time.
