Morning
Breakfast with Darkside. Nice and peaceful. I am wearing a shirt that used to be a bit too small, and it fits very well. I look good. Ditto with the jeans. 274 this morning.
Science class. Quipped pointedly at Bird that the National Forests were in danger from too much Bush, which he agreed with, though he approved of the way that Bush is handling the situation in Iraq. I agreed that he was entitled to his opinion, and that I still thought that Bush was an idiot.
Sat with Darkside and discussed game stuff. He's a sweetheart, and he got rid of the Dynamic Sorcery on Neighbor's character, which Neighbor was going to use to give Darkside GM conniptions. Darkside's only GM'ed three times, and he says that he's really not the person to do it if I want something special for my first time [gaming].
Dawn stopped by the table and gave me M&M's, as I'd given her some of mine a few days ago. I shared, of course. Darkside will eat M&M's. So he doesn't entirely hate chocolate, he just doesn't prefer it, always.
He's so warm, when we brush against each other.
Dawn has heard that you need a minimum of eight hugs a day for psychological health. I gave Darkside a few; he started counting them. When he made a snarky comment while I was headed off to Speech class, I came back and got revenge by kissing his forehead. He growled and got up to kick my ass; I scurried to class.
I was Seargent at Arms in Speech: my exercise of the day was to stretch out the legs, and hold for ten seconds. Good gods! I had no idea that everyone would be in so much pain from such a simple exercise...
Dawn and I hug out for a while after Speech. She was trying to get her textbook back from her Senior Project group leader; I got lunch. We stopped by the Tcom club bake sale first, though. Mmm, brownies. Chocolate is starting to do that thing to my mouth that bananas, walnuts, tomatoes, and pineapple do; this is not happy for me, but I am coping, and making sure not to overdo it.
As Dawn and I were leaving, Darkside came along. I have no idea why he was wandering the direction he was wandering, but he saw us, and hollered down the hall after me. Mmm, Darkside. We wandered and chatted. The three of us have fun together. Darkside shared gaming stories with us, and collected more hugs. Once he was up to eight, Dawn and I both pounced at the same time. I think he must have gotten at least a dozen hugs all told today. He was grinning by the end of it all.
Dawn took me home, and I commenced the repair of the computers. I've managed to resolve the IRQ conflict on Red by making two hardware profiles, one the normal one, and one labelled "Network Enabled", but have yet to figure out what to do. I wrote everything down in the Book of Shadows that we're keeping for him (my father does the same thing for his computers, only calls it something else) and we advanced to a new level of error message, but managed to make him think that he has a network card that works.

Heh
But it's not like I do much for the community... but then, my duties in class as S@A consist of introducing the President, stirring up the class a bit, then sitting by the door in a position of potential menace should anybody try anything.
