I just wanted to requote that. I've written psuedocode like that, usually when I feel embarassed about writing "if error, duh" or "if error, do stuff". It might even be reasonable mental realcode. It's funny either way.

I keep remembering Ron, who was teaching about exception-handlers, while substituting for the Joking Okie, and that was the day I happened to have my lightsaber, and it happened to turn on in class... what do you expect, it was the morning after Star Wars: Episode 2 came out!

Ron mentioned that he had well-established classroom policies for things such as pagers and cellphones, but he'd never had to make a policy for lightsabers...

I wonder how many people realize that when they're cursing at the program, they're cursing at themselves and the programmer?
