Y'know... I read the book 3 times, saw the movie dozens of times, but it wasn't until my goddaughter pointed it out to me (in her "clever Hermione" voice) that I knew that Erised is DESIRE spelled backwards.

So the kitten desireth to be a lion? Everything is as it should be, sweeting... as it be.
