Mmm, burgers
Went out for dinner with Votania in celebration of my grades. Nephew came along with, of course.
There was happy conversation about this and that, and not-so-happy conversation about overuse of napkins, the necessity of getting a little messy while eating things, the necessity of wiping things on napkins rather than shorts or arm, the folly of not holding tight enough to one's cup, and the reality-check that freaking out over spilling the soda is about as bad as spilling the soda itself.
Nephew went through a dollar's worth of quarters in the Star Wars video arcade game in the time it took me to visit the ladies', brush my hair, and re-apply lipstick.
We came home on the bus, and I saw Sharon from RI! Damn! What a cool thing. She's looking good. RI is evidently not doing well on hours at the moment. Damn recession. She'll stop by DeVry every now and then to see if I'm around.
Back home again. Dawn called just as I was coming in the door, and we started to confirm plans. If something interesting should go down Thursday night, I'll have backup. My quasi-apprentice knows that I'm only a phonecall away should I be needed.
