Votania's machine Red is in deep trouble. I honestly have no idea what she keeps doing to it, or what it keeps doing to her, but they hate each other with a passion.

Computers tend to work worse for those who hate them, mostly because those who hate them don't really have the tendency to work around the computer's known flaws, but instead go barging straight through them, causing the computer to get pissy and wreak all sorts of revenge.

Downloaded Mozilla for her to try and get around the happy Internet Exploder problem (thing keeps crashing and won't work); Red seems to be dead again.

Oy to the Vey.

What OS is she running? Have you gone to the extreme of doing a full wipe and reinstall?

She's forgotten how many times she's reinstalled, and I have too.

She *hates* computers. Yet somehow, she's both good enough and bad enough with them so that she can screw them up to the point where she knows they need a full OS wipe/replace, and can perform same.

Since Red is thrashed, Votania might let me have a crack at it. I'm none too fond of computers either, but i might at least ease her fustration a bit. *shrugs*. At least it's win98. I familliar with that, just not the emachines. That might be the problem. Damn, clones! *SG*

I do what I can. I only hope it's enough.

Having you around for her to beat her head against instead of smacking it against that damn box would be great, whether or not you can make any appreciable contributions to the interesting situation.

*sigh*

It's gotten to the point where I don't even want to volunteer to touch it, even though I would probably have a better crack at doing stuff.

Well, I'm not going to do anything to it after all. My decision. When she FINALLY has it the way she really wants it, I'll put my stuff on it. Until then, support, support, support!
