Drat.
Darkside's working today.
I did call him and let him know I'd survived the first day and a half of school. He had to teleport off to work within a few minutes, but he took out a couple seconds for me.
It feels weird, being there at a human time of day. Told him as much.
E-mailed him, with the things I wanted to say. Not the things that he knows already and is uncomfortable when I tell them to him, but the things about my life that I always wind up telling him, and crying about, and he always listens and tells me what I've been telling myself, only in a way I'll be able to listen to it.
I trust him, because he can See me.
I hope he reads the e-mail. But then, will it make a difference if he doesn't? I know he listens in person, and I know he gives hugs in person, and I know he tells bad jokes in person... and I know I'm his friend. That knowledge, after saying all the things I've been afraid to say, and crying about it, knowing that no matter what, he still cares for me as much, is the most incredible treasure anyone could have.
