Votania took pictures at the party. Unfortunately, she backed them up on CD... and the CD is not readable by any drive in any computer we have.

The CD in question is not reading in Enki, Red, or Tigereye, not in any of their drives. It spins, and then it gives the "Pardon me, but could you put a CD in that drive if you want to read from it?" error. It could be a physical problem with the CD, *or* it could be some issue in that it was burned from 98, and all three of these computers are running 2000 at the moment. I haven't the foggiest. The next step would be to test it on a 98 machine with a known good drive.

Votania says that after she burned the CD, she popped it in the other drive, and it worked correctly. This was when Red was still running 98.
