Has anyone tried plugging in and turning on Red again? digitalambience instructed me in the arte of discharging the capacitors.

did you do something to red?
far as I know the only thing that's been done to red is the case has been taken off to try...at some point...to remove the power supply so as to transport the old one to the other temple to get a replacement to see if that will fix red.
