Say that Anne is one religion, and Barbara is another one. Barbara does something that is perfectly all right from her ethical viewpoint. Anne gets peeved because Barbara has sinned, even though Barbara doesn't see it that way.

Anne feels she's in the right. And by the bases she uses to stake her claim, she very much is. Why the confusion?

Of course Anne feels that she's in the right, but Anne should not be confused when Barbara does not feel properly guilty that she's in the wrong, because by Barbara's standards, Barbara has done nothing that horrible.
