Four years later, I wander over there to apologize.

For what it's worth, four years later and somewhat more socially ept:

That night when our communication crossed the way it did, what I was reading between the lines was that you might have been trying to flirt with me, and I freaked out and tried to back off because my love life was insane and getting more so by the second at that point, and that's when things went bad. I'm sorry I handled it so poorly.
