It just seemed, somehow, like one of those things that was too geeky and punnish not to have been thought of, yet no one makes very many comments on it...
Yeah, it's true. On all accounts. Then again, my last attempt at humor (of iroshi's Chris's 'microstack' as luck would have it) was not met with an understanding that I was deliberately making a joke, so I wouldn't be the first person to be said to have a balanced sense of humor. :)
You could even go so far as to write something like "Dogs have a very refined IP system... everywhere they've been has an address, and in dog behavior, once an address has been established, attempts to steal it are met with violence. Routing is done with their amazing olfactory sense."
