Something happened last night, something minor-but-significant; I'm not sure if it slipped by unnoticed, but I noticed it, immediately.

Little gestures, little things, little symbolisms, all fit together; there was something not quite right.

And I wake up this morning wishing for Darkside's voice and wisdom, his physical presence, his warmth, the dryer-scorched smell of his clothes...
