1. Explain why you started to journal/blog.

I started a journal on the day the Gulf War started, because I'd been reading Rilla of Ingleside far too much. I started my LJ because I already kept a journal, and several of my online buddies mentioned LJ as a nifty place of much niftiness.


2. Do people you interact with day to day or family members know about your journal/blog? Why or why not?

templeravenmoon is the household LJ. I include the link to my LJ in my sig with every e-mail I send to my grandmother, sister, aunts, and uncles. My mother and father do not know where it is, as I write about bits of my life that they'd rather not share as much as I'd rather not share those with them. The people who do know where it is hear all about my life anyway, and this is a way for them to watch.

My blonder half does not view my LJ, though he's been invited to repeatedly; he doesn't go for reading other people's diaries.


3. Do you have a theme for your journal/blog?

Other than "I'm an outsane ranting Lunatic, nice to meet you too"? Nope.


4. What direction would you like to have your journal/blog go in over the next year?

Improved quality of writing. I am a writer. This is what I do.


5. Pimp five of your favorite journals/blogs.

At the moment: iroshi, sithjawa, rainstorm13, gremliness, shadesong. List tends to vary by activity and interests, both mine and theirs. (Though those first two are pretty constant.)

(I've already determined several times over that BDSM is not really my thing... my fetishes seem to run distinctly in the gentle/harmless categories. *shrug*)
