Addendum: Anyone who I've friended back (not all of the above, as my friends list is getting insane at 196) is welcome to apply to join the BDSM and Witchy filters. I leave most of the BDSM stuff in the filter (not that there's much) and I generally post a reminder out of the filter when I post in the filter. Let it be known that I do not have much in the way of BDSM going on in my life. The Witchy filter is there so I won't clog up your friends list with the stuff if you're totally not interested in it if I get into a heavy bout of magicgeeking in my typical postflurries.

I have noticed that I've been able to transmit (is that the right word here?) images/thoughts to you but not words or any form of verbal communication.

I have been able to hear words from you in focused bursts... and usually not in complete sentences. My waking mind fills in the blanks.

I can give you the images/thoughts, but I believe that ultimately the Name will be something you discover on your own.

I uncovered a word that may be part of someone else's Name once. He'd told me his Name before, in a dream. It isn't even a word, but I can still wrap my mind around the feeling of it.

May I suggest that perhaps the arm symbolizes something new you have discovered about yourself, that you're not quite sure is "you"...?

I realized in re-reading some of our recent convos that I sound so damn sure of myself... when really I have no freakin' idea where some of this comes from.

But after it comes out and is written down, it rings true. So I send it to you and hope that you don't laugh at me all the way to the looney bin (lunatic bin? heh)

Something "new"..... yet I'm still not ready to accept it. But I'm going with it.... just leaving my mind open to the possibilities, that's all.

I do know that my own first experience with telling people the things that they needed to know that sounded right was in 2000, May-ish, and it was very odd to be confidently telling someone all about their life, and have their face change and go odd colors and have them call their wife in so she can hear it too, while I'd never known even the beginnings of that to start with...

It's very odd. Eventually it becomes commonplace, but no less wonderful.
