The phonecall campaign that got launched some weeks ago on the Capitol? A DDoS attack. That's what it was. Seriously.

it can be seen as that, but it had a purpose and was neither random nor malicious.

I know: I even participated in it.

Still, same principle; the DDoS was a side effect of the real purpose in this case.
