Odd thing is, I was tested by a shrink, and I came out with an IQ of 125.

Actually not that surprising. It's pretty typical to vary 10 points or so between tests.

I got tested when I was just a little thing, and my parents wouldn't tell me what I got lest I get a swelled head and lord it over the other kids. They didn't really tell me that I'd had an IQ test, either, so I went through school vaguely aware that I went to the Gifted & Talented classes while most of the other kids didn't, but I was just another normal kid and everybody else was about as smart as I was.
