I don't usually do this. (Losers, easy amusement thereat, plus random kid stuff as bonus)
It takes a pretty good friend so either one of us will go and flame away anywhere.
But I was in the mood for some cheap entertainment, and so was Dagger, so... heh.
The flaming is spread out over here, here, and first but by no means least, here.
garnetdagger is in fine form, no longer feeling envious of N* for N*'s having gotten to come out earlier today (and she informs me that really, her name should be properly abbreviated N%, so I shall...) (and uh-oh, N% and Marah seem to have crafted a strategic alliance, which is scarier than it could be, but is not as scary as it ought to be...), as now Dagger has also had a chance to get some good time in.
So, all in all, it's been an excellent day but for the stuff with the Viking, but he seems to be doing all right now, and is not needing to seek Sanctuary here tonight. The Little Fayoumis does not understand the depth of the offense against the Viking, but why the Viking was sad was explained to him effectively, and it's an acceptable reason to be upset, even for a grown-up.
LF came to class with me tonight, and introduced himself to Mr. Demland. He sat relatively quietly and wrote on paper with the 10-colored dildo pen. Then I ran him around the courtyard to tire him out, had him sit through another hour of class, where he "read" my SQL book. Sooo cute! I ran him around the courtyard some more, so he was preternaturally quiet and well-behaved when Marx came to pick him up.
*giggle*
Wimps. If you have to prove yourself not a wimp when someone calls you one, you're proving yourself even more of one.

As well as through other people, some of whom are in-person friends.
Otherwise I would not have been as free with our comments.
Re:
I mean, there are good online friends, yes, but as long as we only know someone online, we have the opportunity to convey a certain picture of ourselves to them that may or may not be an accurate or complete representation.

Azz has it on good authority, whom she trusts, that the facts of the case are correct.
And his telling of "his side of the story" is so incoherent, and he is so incapable of actually making himself believable (he claims to have been arrested for merely "venting"...when the charge, dear readers, was *assault*), that nearly *anyone* can be quite clear that Nali is, in fact, telling the truth.
*sigh*
And you neither sound rude nor overly critical, you merely sound concerned, and discerning. This is completely and utterly acceptable and something we highly admire in people. :) Go you!

Thanks for explaining.

Never mind the Othersenses that were pinged by it when I heard about it,
And, about the assault: The police showed up, for what sounded to them like a routine case of potential domestic violence, to be headed off with shelter to get the two potential combatants apart, and the usual referrals ... until the Beastling behaved in such a manner that they decided they would go very carefully over Nali's accounting of the situation, and found that in fact, there had been assault, and that was that. Venting shouldn't ever venture into assault...
Re:
But that's me, and I'm rather isolationist. I'll listen and talk and stay largely uninvolved other than that in most cases. I've been bitched at for that tendency more than once.

...Kaboom.
As far as I can see, as far as LJ's TOS are concerned, he's the aggressor in her journal, and we have been given permission to have at him in that forum...
I probably would have limited it to a very few comments, but since Nali was delighting in everyone saying all the things she was too afraid to even think, and we were delighting in getting them said, and he was *not* helping his own cause any (care to dig yourself any deeper there, Boy?) ... *giggle* I probably wouldn't have taken it that far if he hadn't been so easy to tease...
You know how trolls make the provocative comments on forums, and then taunt all the easy targets who respond? He did his own trolling...

I was at first worried that I hadn't saved enough left for the others, but there was evidently plenty of Beastling to go around...
