Chicken Pox Update:

One spot, on his right cheek.

Previous action: Teacher told him not to itch them if he got them because it would leave scars. So far, I don't think he has been.

Current action: toothpaste dabbed on it, him told to clench his fists to help distract him from thinking about itching, and playing as much in the way of videogames as he wants.

Future actions: Caladryl lotion, trim nails.

Ya know, it was weird... When I had chicken pox, they didn't really itch. They hurt if I touched anything... But they never itched. The worst part, really, was that I had a horrible pain in my stomach.

I'm being rather calm about this since I remember my own experiences with it so much.

Mama had it at the same time we did. She had a horrible time. We had to be quiet and good for her. FatherSir was at work all the time.
