It's a comedy, a pretty good one at that. Has good camerawork. The storytelling is /way/ too gritty for my tastes though. I think it was on TNT a while ago- that's where I saw it. Some girl's coming-of-age story.

There was this one part where her and her... cousin, I think she was, were waving her cousin's vibrator around (the protagonist had never seen one before) and dancing and laughing hysterically. Then her dad walks in and asks what the hell is going on. Her cousin shouts, "Turn it off, quick! Turn the head, turn the head!" and the protagonist ends up standing there for an embarassingly long time trying to figure out how to turn it off.
That was the scene I meant.
