Ah, housecleaning.

What would normal people say? Oh, yes. "I put Christmas lights up on the ceiling in my room in the shape of a star. It looks kick-ass!"

I, on the other hand, "inscribed a permanent pentagram of light upon the ceiling of my temple."

Yeah, it looks kick-ass. I really need to take it down, though, and replace bulbs in one of the strings of lights, because about 3/4 of them don't light up, and it would be just damn stupid to do the work on a chair about to fall over onto whatever lies beneath.

Well, if you were local, sweetie, I'd offer to come assist with the bulb-installation. I don't have problems with chairs. Roommates always used to make me do anything involved with the ceiling. :)

I lived in a household like that for a while. Was roommates with two other pagans for about 5 months. It was good! There was an altar in every room, almost...One in each bedroom and one in the living room. None in the kitchen, exactly...though there were magical plants on the windowsill. *G*

Living in the apt with just my hubby last year was a good magical place. Our balcony faced out over a small grove of trees with a creek running through it, and it was populated by many Fae Folk. We missed that wood more than anything when we moved out to go on the tour-that-died. I've started praying for our next apartment...we're going to have to choose based on price more than anything, this time, 'cause we want to get our bills totally paid off in the next few years. So any pluses in the location column are going to have to be strictly deity-granted. :)

You need a chair to reach the ceiling?

*smirk*

Oh well, I guess the side benefit is you never hit your hand on the ceiling fan when your changing shirts either.

Glad to know I'm not the only one with those things around! *G* Chris even bought a little machine that looks like a Sith droid that follows a sensor in the lightsabre that came with it, and shoots nerf disks at you. It's a training droid, you see, you have to then block the disks...and they go fast enough that you actually *do* have to use the Force to be able to hit them...

Dunno where you'd get one; we found it at a thrift store. I've never seen one in the stores.

I'm sure you didn't just describe what Sith Academy was for *my* benefit...I'm sure it was for all those odd readers out there, right? *giggle*

::remembering when sockii started the TPM slash archive and when Sith Academy started, and chatting with the authors thereof on the squidge TPM room...::

Oh, and have I mentioned that I'm the SWA-L archivist? (Star Wars Allslash List) If you don't know that one, it's at http://www.squidge.org/swal/

I haven't written anything in a while (see my profile for the reasons) but I do have my own fic webpage. It's listed on my journal. It's got TPM fic in it...though my favourite one is listed on the works in progress page. It's not in progress, really. It's finished, just lacking beta editing. (Beta has *read* it, I just haven't *edited* it yet.) It's called Restraint. :)
