Glasses

Sure enough, there was a package pickup slip in the mailbox, and the box was of my glasses. There were my intact glasses, then three partial pairs, each with something different awry.

The intact glasses are huge, with pink transparent plastic frames. I wore glasses much like these for the first few years I wore glasses, and then upgraded to frames much like the ones I had been wearing.

It takes me very far back.

ah yes, old glasses. I've got a couple mangled frame aviator style glasses that are absolutely huge that I used to wear. Eugh! :) I like my current glasses and hopefully shall never have a need to go back! (which reminds me I really do need to get a spare of this frame. Hopefully the optometrist can find it. I love them so much...)

Doh, I take it you don't wear yours all the time? Mine are always on my head, or in arms reach of where I am asleep or showering.

I *do* wear visual correction at all times: but, being in Arizona, and *hating* both contacts, clip-on sunglasses, and those ones that change color in the light vs. inside, I have a set of normal glasses and a set of prescription sunglasses.

Somewhere between home and school, my glassescase, containing my indoor glasses, vanished from my pocket. I was wearing the shorts that things slip out of the pockets of from time to time, or maybe I put them down when I tossed the wrapper from the allergy pills in the trash, or...

At any rate, I was half-asleep.

I only wear my glasses, and for sun stopping power I've got cheap polarized clipons. That realy sucks, I'm always paranoid about losing stuff, my current object that I lose frequently is my lock for the lockers at the gym. I've bought at least 4 in the last year. Doh!
