"Chaos chicken" is my roommate/soulsister votania's term for the Egyptian Fayoumis, a typically insane variety of bird that's got a rather foul temper and is used in genetic research often.

I used to own a few. The spirit of one of them decided to come hang out in our new apartment, back when we first moved in, because there weren't enough local ghosts.
