Good movie.

yaksha42 to see The Matrix: Reloaded, which was exceptionally delightful, and I want a transcript to pick apart the philosophy and see where it applies to me and mine.
Other than that...
I was struck by the similarity between M'sieur l'Abruti and his wife with Neo and Trinity. I kept comparing noses between Trinity and Persephone, wondering if the one was not in fact the other. It would wrap around nicely, that way...
I was expecting to see Cypher. Just, you know, appropriate. Maybe in a crowd scene or something, unknowing of his past. Perhaps even as a begger, far from the life of luxury he'd imagined.
Oh, and the Smiths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My, oh my.
And those fight scenes were sweet.

Think about it.
The One's job was to save humanity by selecting a careful core colony group. When better to fall in love than by necessity? And then, to grow jaded and bitter, and find one's way into the machine, somehow, with one's wife...
...and to lose sight of the love for her that you once had.
