Around the beginning of September, the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District starts up their school year.

Room 102. Right next to what would later become the GT room. 1st through 3rd graders came in the entrance doors close to her classroom.

I was in the advanced reading group in another classroom.

The classrooms were big and a little scary. We had cubbies with a place at the top for smaller stuff that didn't need to be under our boots.
