Final Exam

Burns told us that we could take our choice between two versions of the final exam.

Version A: one question. Tell me everything you know about Oracle.

Or, we could go for B: the 50-question Scan-Tron.

ooh. I think I'd go for B, personally, but I have a feeling that he'd really be impressed by anyone who chose A.

If it had been something like, say, the Aurora Borealis, I would have gone for A.

I boggled poor Joan-the-science-teacher once, when she asked the rather spacey Loony to repeat back to her what she'd just explained about the Aurora.

Loony proceeded to rattle back a canned lecture about the Aurora, with such good effect that some of the other kids in the class, who hadn't been getting it, wound up sporting the "Wow, I get it now" expressions.

My father was, you see, a rocket scientist.
