The Shower Meme (interview)

Questions from [livejournal.com profile] minakochan:

1. You often refer to yourself as a priest. What does this mean, and
when did you first realize you were one?

2. What's your favorite saying?

3. If you could erradicate one book from the history of the universe,
which would it be?

4. Choose: Feathers or leather?

5. When was your first same sex encounter?

1. You often refer to yourself as a priest. What does this mean, and when did you first realize you were one?

Usually, I refer to myself as a minister, but priest is close enough. When I was 12 or 13 or so, I took oath to the universe to use my skills wisely and in service of balance and life. I found myself performing ministerial duties, and decided to become ordained by the Universal Life Church to affirm my calling. I take confessions, listen to people, and ask them the questions that make them realize what they have been thinking all along, in a form so they can deal with it if they need to.

2. What's your favorite saying?

That's a tough one. One of the ones that's been making the rounds inside [livejournal.com profile] templeravenmoon has been "Bend over: I'll show you". Say this in response to any question for an effect that is often obscene. Professionally, "So what do you mean by that?" has got to be one of the top ones.

3. If you could eradicate one book from the history of the universe, which would it be?

Windows on a Lost World. It is a Star Trek: Original Series book, and it sucks beyond belief. I know two people who were introduced to the Star Trek books through that piece of crap, and both of them were very much turned off by it. One of them went on to read other books, and found that the others did not suck. The second one still has not read other Star Trek books, because that one sucked so very horribly much. It is a bad book, with no redeeming literary value, and should forever be consigned to the realms of Badfic, only it cannot because it has been published!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. Choose: Feathers or leather?

Oh, leather, without a doubt. Leather jacket, leather pants, leather... accessories... *giggle* I think that the only people who generally look good in feathers are birds. Xiao Ji had the most lovely plumage... Ethically speaking, of course, you can get feathers w/o killing the animal, but for style and happiness, I'd go with leather.

5. When was your first same sex encounter?

Well. There are a number of things that might qualify...
The first time I realized I liked another girl was when I was nearly 15, back on May 1 of 1995, though retrospectively, I did have a crush on my friend Galadriel, and on my sister's violin teacher, who was sooo gorgeous.
The first girl I dated and was attracted to with any immediacy was my fiancée the Lady E.; we hugged but never kissed.
The first girl I kissed was ... this psycho chick in high school. We're now not liking each other very much.
The first girl I had sex with was "Erica" from That Idiot Shawn's tale of lust and Really Bad Timing. She and I don't talk anymore either.

Anyone wishing an interview, comment, and I can see if I can think up some questions... anyone who wants to interview me (anything you've been dying to know, too shy to ask) speak up!

Here's a rather detailed one for you, but I'm sure you'll have no trouble answering:

You seem to have grown up in a rather non-traditional household, having been raised in a very rural area, always surrounded (as far as I know) by your current traditions, rather then coming into magic later in life. How do you think you benefited from the experience, and do you think that there is anything significant that you missed out on?

2. When and under what circumstances did you first run into [livejournal.com profile] iroshi?

Can't think of anything else at the moment, if I do, I'll add to this.
