It is possible to herd cats.

It is just very, very, very difficult, and works best with only one cat at a time. And also a hockey stick.

swallowtayle and I learned how to herd chickens from our father. It takes some practice, but after that, it's easy. It's relatively easy to get cats to go where you want them to go by making them want to go where you want them to go...

Theoretically, the hockey stick is not for hitting anything, but for poking and making crawl out of dark corners and such.
