A Proper Shopping Trip

Headed to the mall. Stopped in at Bath & Body Works. They had a soap sale, so I got a bar. Stopped in at some of the earring shops, and eventually ended up with some cubic zircona hypoallergenic earrings. Sparkly! Star-shaped!

Headed off to the library, and returned the books. Got more. Am reading Night Watch now. PTerry, of course.

Came back through, and stopped in at See's. Next time, perhaps I'll not have the chocolate-covered cherries. Stopped back in at B&BW and got more soap. Came home on the bus. Stopped in at the dollar store first, though, and got alcohol and hydrogen peroxide, for cat-ear happy fun.

(Yes. Draining and cleaning an abcessed ear is fun. Joy joy joy.)

Am now going to dabble at the rest of my housework, turn up my beak at supper, and read.

::cries for joy::

I grew up thinking Godiva Chocalatiers were THE chocolate. Maybe that was just because they were absurdly expensive. A friend from Chicago sent me some Fannie Mae chocolates that gave Godiva a run for their money, but I didn't have them side by side so I'll never know for sure. ::bites fist, sobs::

See's, on the other hand, is heaven. I can go in there and say, "I have five dollars to spend!" and tell them (hand over my eyes), "I like truffles and Scotchmallows!" and they put an assortment together that comes to just five dollars. And then they wink at me and throw in some "samples"... like there's something as See's I haven't tried yet.
