Headaches:

I possibly may mention to my doctor next time I go in that every now and then I do get the kind of headache that's like someone jabbing a needle right behind my eye.

I am told that this is a migraine.

I suppose it might be. I've never really had much of any other kind of headache, so I thought that this was the kind of headache that everyone gets...

Actually, I've always thought of those as sinus headaches.

Migraines, for me, tend to be all-over kind of pain, or localized only somewhere in the middle, very jabby and sharp, yes, but not behind the eyes, except in so much that LIGHT FUCKING HURTS. I can tell I'm getting a migraine when I get light sensitive. I also, when they're bad, can get everything-else-sensitive, too. Any sense can go overboard...usually light, secondarily hearing, thirdly motion. I've had scent go bad on me...only twice have I had touch go over-sensitive, and only one of those times did it go off the charts. Once it was just that I didn't want to be touched, at ALL...the other time, I took my pain meds, took off all my clothes, spread the sheet on the bed out as FLAT as I could (even the wrinkles hurt), made Chris close the vent in the bedroom because even the air moving across my skin hurt, and I laid spread-eagled on the bed and tried desperately not to move until the meds knocked me out.
