Found an old quiz from Visual Basic class. The quiz wasn't of much import, however, the note in runes at the top was... interesting.

"I am the evil reincarnation of Alan Turing's underpants. If you can translate this, I will be surprised."

I got full marks on the quiz, so obviously Pruitt couldn't read it...

A friend of mine wrote a long, lovelorn missive in runes on a desk in a lecture theatre at university. He seemed to forget that he knew at least 15 people who could read this, and sure enough a translation found its way to the object of his unrequited affection. Much embarrassment ensued.

A friend-of-a-friend wanted to have, "If found, please deposit in mailbox" tattooed on the bottom of his foot in the Elder Futhark, in case he was ever found dead or unconscious in an alley, to give the coroner/medical people something to send for a translator for -- or double over laughing themselves.
