Kid... food.

Little Fayoumis is making his own sandwiches, which leads to some interesting combinations. Peanut-butter and bologna... But he likes it.

I used to make peanut butter and syrup sandwiches... my argument was that syrup was just like honey!

My brother would eat peanut butter and BUTTER sandwiches. Those were his FAVORITE.

Eww.

Peanut butter and bologna is standard! Bread and raisins are both optional, depending on the desired messiness. Grape jelly works, but disturbs bystanders.

One combination that Arlo discovered recently is pineapple in grilled cheese (actually quesadillas). It's sort of a sweet-and-sour effect, especially with strong cheddar.

One that grosses out most people...

But I think is hella yummy. Mashed Potato and Spaghettio sandwiches. I discovered this in kindergarden, a creation of my and my then best friend, Amy. Place layer of mashed potatoes on one slice of bread. Coat liberally with spaghettios and add another piece of bread. Viola. Very yummy.

Most people find spaghettios disgusting nowadays. I think they must have changed the way they make them or something, because I don't recall them tasting quite like that when I was a kid.

Now the only way I can stomach them in on a sandwich. It does work with real spaghetti too.

My oldest is into cheez-whiz/ketchup/bologna sandwiches. Maybe all their tastebuds don't come in till they're older.

I tried that once, and I also did peanut butter and mayo. Ewwww.
