Cute kid memories...

Some time ago, [livejournal.com profile] shammash got a catnip mouse. Little Fayoumis saw that he'd gotten a mouse, and nabbed him and the mouse.

I overheard him explaining and demonstrating: "Now, you click the mouse like this..." with [livejournal.com profile] shammash's paw set on top of the mouse, with Little Fayoumis gently guiding it around like it was a computer mouse.

Eventually the cat wiggled free and went off.

The lab guy, upon hearing this story (Little Fayoumis was playing "Treasure Island" on a turned-off computer, clicking on things that might be treasure to collect them -- such an imagination!) was surprised and impressed at the saintly patience of the cat in question. Evidently most cats would have bitten or scratched...

I was older than your Little Fayoumis, but trying stuff like that with my Felix resulted in scars. :o)

Yes, most cats aren't that patient. :o)

When we got Felix, he could fit in my hand. :o)

He's just a vicious bastard. Cute, though.

My cat has infinate patience. Much like his owner. The worst he'll do when he's superemely pissed off is gum you with his teeth. But he never bites.

Bringing LF to school with me and dropping him off in the lab is fine with me.
