Cats are always on the wrong side of closed doors. This is why many of the doors in our house have cat-sized holes in them. They were cheap doors and it's easier. *shrug*

Now all we have to deal with are puritanical cats who feel there is something Deeply Wrong with humans sleeping during the day ("day" defined as whenever it's slightly light and cats think we should be up), especially since the bed is Theirs during the day.

It's useful to have catproof doors around, as these are indoor-only cats, and if we want outside doors open, the cats can just be stuck in a room with the door shut, and the Great Outdoors can come inside, and the cats will remain in the not-so-great indoors.
