He doesn't like eating his vegetables because it "takes forever". Um, honey? That's because you eat them slooooowly. If you ate them fast, or even at something approaching a normal human speed, you'd have been three times done by now.

...And the two-parent simultaneous "You. Sit. Down. Now." is very fun to do. ...Well. Fun in terms of synchronization/coordination/cooperation. Not fun in terms of "Gods, why does he make us do this?"

This is odd to me, mainly because I've always loved vegetables. I think I was a wierd child that way. I didn't get candy or anything for snacks.. I got dry cereal and veggies with ranch dip.


yum.. this makes me hungry for a veggie platter.

Raw carrots and ranch dip disappear; we have to guard him from hogging them if there's a party. But cooked veggies? No fucking way. It's like they have cooties or something.

Plus, his mother hates veggies with a passion born of sheer loathing and a trailer-trash mother.
