Cats

It's amazing, how far eris_raven has come. She's still skittish and shy, but she comes right up to me and demands petting and love -- even when I'm standing, now, occasionally. She's all over me if I'm in my computer chair or in bed.

Yesterday votania actually picked her up. (She still doesn't like that at all, not from me, not from anyone.)

She has a charming purrtrill, and she's so very soft...

Yep. I like my cat.

Purrtrill... that is exactly what that noise is.

Zeus does that when he's looking out the window calling to other cats.

She's usually purring when I'm petting her, and then she purrtrills at me...

You pretty much just described my cat, William! He is very skittish, but very cuddly. It's weird. You stand up and he goes flying out of the room. You sit down and he's all over you. And he makes this chirpy noise when getting attention. And he loves having his tummy rubbed (he will flop around in circles on the floor while you do it making that hillarious chirpy noise).

He's not a fan of being held, though. At least, not for longer than a minute at a time.
