5 questions from xevinx, who does not know me at all, other than the fact that we live in the same city and I like his style:

1. Where is that userpic from? It looks like it might be from the Love and Rockets comic.

2. What does your username mean? Break it down. Does it mean that everyone in Arizona is a lunatic, or that you are Arizona's state lunatic? or something else...what's the story?

3. So, how about this weather? Is it hot or what?

4. Has LiveJournal increased the amount of time you spend on the internet by any significant amount?

5. What's the best place to hang out in the Phoenix-Metro area?

Bonus Question: Do you absolutely hate when it's been 115 for two weeks straight and people mention that its hot outside, as if you've been holed up in an air conditioned cave all year and hadn't noticed.

It's actually from Strangers in Paradise, the character Francine, though people not familiar with the comic and familiar with me think it's of me.

It's actually from a long-ago LARP of White Wolf's Vampire: the Masquerade, while I was still in Fairbanks. I'm not sure how familar you are with that game. There are, basically, clans of vampires, and each clan has certain characteristics. One clan is the artists, one clan is grotesque and ugly, and so on. My character was clan Malkavian, who are insane, one and all. This particular one had blue hair and a fixation on wood. The name was actually from a punk band name generator, but I liked it, and kept it.

I got bored with the game after only a few sessions and wandered off, but the character, and the name, stuck around.

3. So, how about this weather? Is it hot or what?

Bleaugh. You're telling me. Give me some Alaskan shorts weather any day.

4. Has LiveJournal increased the amount of time you spend on the internet by any significant amount?

Yep. It's taken over much of my personal journaling and reading time, though my overall time for internet + reading + journal hasn't much changed.

5. What's the best place to hang out in the Phoenix-Metro area?

Sheesh. You're asking the chick with a full load of classes, babysitting on top, and an LJ addiction this? I mostly do my hanging out at DeVry with the gang, or home with the family, though I may occasionally be seen killing time at Fry's Electronics, Metrocenter, or the Denny's right by Dunlap & the 17.

Well, I do generally notice, because I have to walk to school in that shit.

I grew up very close to the home of Love & Rockets. In fact, mikester, an employee of a Ventura comic shop, knows the Hernandez Bros personally.

I've heard of Love & Rockets here and there, but never learned much about it.
