Cough syrup!

Being the curious little fayoumis that I am, I tried a sip of the maraschino cherry/sugar/rum combination that's contemplating itself in the Starbucks bottle in the refrigerator.

Robitussin cough syrup, anyone?

It's mellowing out. I anticipate it'll take a while.

Which means I should start up more, so they'll be edible by dipping time.

Alcoholic red fruit stuff NEEDS time to mellow. We learned that in an unfortunate experiment with raspberry mead, which was dreadful for a long time.

It's settling down, now. But that night, it was nasty.
