Cleaning off my altar...

Got a whole bunch of stuff from votania today, who has been cleaning out the stuff at the bottom of her closet. Therefore, as she has no more use for altarcloths, specialized candleholders, and suchlike, I've gotten stuff to re-arrange.

So my altar got cleared off and mopped down, and it's got a lovely bit of heavy white satin on top (stained and a bit waxed), as well as a thing to go under the plate I use for my main ritual area, and something else to go under the incense.

I really need several altars, because I've got the one main one for active work, and then I want a quiet shrine off to the side with the flowers and the long-term things, as well as more storage space, not to mention the one I want to have with Raven and Monkey and the Ladies Dark and Light (and shinies).

When I finally clear through this room (maybe today? maybe not...) I'm going to bring my IKEA box into the room (it's currently sitting out in the hall) and use that as my altar. It's handy, since it's a nice level surface, and also, well, a box for storing things.
